Mequon, WI—The Fighting Sue announced today that forward Tom Porter has been selected to serve as the team captain, effective immediately.

“Tom is a great player who leads by example. He plays hard and is a veteran who has experience playing and coaching at a very high level” said Sue general manager E.J. Porter. “This move reorganizes the Sue based on the on-ice realities and our current team dynamic.”

(Tom) Porter signed with the Fighting Sue in their inaugural season and has been a perennial fan favorite. He has played 182 games with the organization, posting 396 points (192g-204a) and 170 penalty minutes. 

Tom Porter is the all-time scoring leader for the Sue.

In addition, goaltender Danny Bigras and defenseman E.J. Porter will serve as alternate captains.
